Don't You Dare Say It !!!Hahahaa

If you've been around my blog for awhile you'll Also be aware that I am a Totally, Christmas Person! Lights, smells and smiles. If you don't remember that, Tree From Hell, last year, you can see it here... I swore then and there that THIS year I'd have a new tree that didn't involve putting on each and every branch...individually! Lord, what a chore that was! Hubby was insistant that we use it...It was a WallyWorld Special $75 dollar tree...After he had to do the "chore" for a few years, he came around to MY way of thinking fairly quickly...Hahahaaaa....(I can be Very patient when needs, be). Last Saturday our friends Tom and Bev visited...Bev and I went shopping...I purchased the NEW tree and it was sitting in the back of my Jeep...in it's box...When the Guys got in, I simply asked Hubby to go get it out of the back of my car and put it in the store room...Hahaaaaa...I heard Not One Word! He just grinned... Bless his little heart...Hahaaaa....
Anyway, that's it in the photo. No, you can't see it until it's decorated and that'll happen Thanksgiving afternoon.
Well, guess I'll get this posted. Think I'll go make a little decaf since it's evening. I KNOW you all are excited Christmas is on the way...I just know it...WHAT????Hahaaaa....

I'm working on halloween decorations and christmas decorations too... and my tree has to be "built" layer by layer and takes me about two hours to get it wright then two more hours for the "arrocitos" tiny lights and two more hours for decorations, then the nativity scene or pesebre takes me three days, imagine how I feel in January?....but I'm a christmas person too o.0 0:)

Well since you didn't say that it's decorated already I won't grumble...lol
I do love Christmas but it's the shopping I hate.

I love Christmas too, but since my tree burned in 2005 I haven't bought another. I've gone back to buying or cutting. The teaser we got of yours looks good. I like those pinecones. Have a great evening.

Hi Donna, thanks for coming by. I enjoy the Color Parties from ECS cause it's fun to post things we have in those particular colors. My neighbor across the street has had Christmas lights on the house for a couple of weeks now. I told a friend and she said are you sure they aren't Halloween lights? Nope, Christmas. Guess she is also looking forward to the big day. I see you are too. Hugs...Lu

I love Christmas too Donna! I used to do a whole lot more when all the kids were around...now that they are getting older and all have families of their own...and divorces and such...they are very, very busy!!! We don't do it up as much as we used to, but we still enjoy it!

What a beautiful tree! Can't wait to see the finished product!!

I am beyond excited about Christmas this year! It's our first Christmas without the ex, and it is going to be awesome...I am trying to figure out ways to make it special for the kids.

I love putting it up, it is the dismantling that grabs me. I do mostly outdoors, but this year will be in transit.Last time I moved a friend asked if I really needed all the Xmas stuff. I tire of the same so pass off a lot.

I can COUNT on some laughs when I visit here. my mom has similar stories with a "tree from hell". last year we got her a new tree - small enough that it doesn't take her hours to put it up, and with fewer individual branches. your new one looks like it's going to be beautiful, I have no doubts. after taking a few years off from decorating I got my very own tree last year, and that put the bug in me. this year I'm getting a Douglas fir that reaches the ceiling!!! happy weekend to you Donna {{{hugs}}}

LOL, good for you! As I always like to say, there's enough in the world that aggravates us, so there's no sense in putting up with stuff that can be kicked to the curb! Christmas is to be ENJOYED!

I was getting a little worried, there. I thought you already put your tree UP! Ha ha!

I've been watching some Christmas movies and listening to Christmas music this week! I'd also love a new tree. Mine is one of those "add a branch at a time" trees, and it's a real pain to set up. The "bit" of your new tree you showed us in the photo looks so pretty! Can't wait to see it all set up!

Hugs!
