ANYWAY, the photo above is what those ski slopes look like in the Summer months in New Mexico. See the mower? We sat and watched that guy move along at about three miles an hour...You couldn't PAY me enough to do this job! Scary! It doesn't look bad in the photo but trust me, in real time, the slant was awful.
Yesterday was Fried Chicken day around here. Southern cooks know that if the weather is cooler where you can open the windows, while frying, you get that chicken, Going!Hahaaa...It's either too hot or too cold to open windows around here so yesterday worked out perfectly.
Our Grandaughter also called wanting to bring her new boyfriend by to meet us. They're both Juniors in high school...Lordy, time is just Shooting by! He seems to be a real sweetie but as us Older folks Know, things have a way of changing our lives so we smile...say hello, glad to meet you, and hope they are kind to each other.
Well, guess I'll get this posted and get started on visiting You! Hope you have a Great Sunday!!

Did you go up the lift to sightsee, or do they just close it down in summer?
Welcome back. Hope your week ahead is much smoother!
Your granddaughter is darling!
Hey, it's a busy time for you, so don't fret the blogging stuff. It'll wait for you, LOL.
Look at these BIG pictures! Did you change your layout again? Or am I just dreaming it? One of these days I'm going to play around with the new templates on my template testing blog and see whether there are any that I want to switch over to. But right now, I'm just to scared to switch over!
Your grandaughter and her boyfriend are sweet! Yep, we know from experience that things can change practically daily for these kids so try not to get too attached!
Good to see you Donna. That slope is very steep, yikes. You have a beautiful granddaughter. Blessings, Jo
Hope everything works out for the cute couple and that you have a great week ahead!

Mmm, mmm, mmmm! Love that fried chicken!
Did your granddaughter's boyfriend think you were nuts when you wanted a picture of him for your blog?
You were missed! I stopped by just to see if I missed something. Glad you are back and that fried chicken makes me hungry. Ha!
You did indeed have a busy week. Happy belated birthday to your sweetie!
That chicken looks yummy from here and Sam is as beautiful as ever!
It's 9:00pm here - is that too late for fried chicken?
Girl I'm just glad to know you're still kickin' and fryin' chicken. I'll bet it was good. Have a great week, luvvy!
Other peoples chicken always tastes better. I haven't made it for a while, usually grill it, but fried is my favorite.
Yes, indeed where does the time go anyway. It's just flying by us. Very pretty grand daughter and that chicken looks absolutely delicious. Thanks for visiting. Hugs...Lu
Yea, cool front coming our way.
Yum, I'll take some of the fried chicken.....
cute couple.... your granddaughter is so pretty!
Hugs,
Hey Donna, you make me laugh all the time. I know what you mean about the two young ones - he may be "the one" and then, maybe not! your fried chicken looks so dang delicious, it makes me want some and it's only 8 in the morning! Have you been watching the debates? I've seen them all except one and find them very useful and informative. it seems so early to be in the thick of all this again. (did you hear about That One's teleprompter getting stolen???) ha! Divine intervention if you ask me.
happy day to you Donna. {{{hugs}}}
Oh, that hill does look a bit scary. Your granddaughter sure is cute :)
Yummy fried chicken and I wasn't invited? I'm so hurt...
Ah, I'll get over it. Someday. *grin*
Cute lil' couple there! But you're right~ things change day-by-day at that age!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Miss Donna!
