It was 100 degrees today!!...Geez...here we go.

White Althea (Rose of Sharon) in their yard

Well, another Father's Day gone. My Own Dad visited in Spirit only...and was loving as usual. Really miss him. Especially on days like these. Kinda felt like the kid in the back of the room who was the only one, whose Dad, didn't show up for the play. Oh well. You can tell the mind that you Know they're with you, but trying to convince the body it's true is a little harder. You still feel your eyes well up (Why do they Hurt when that happens)??LOL......I was a Very inquisitive child...always wanting to know the Why of everything...And Why isn't he here?...He finished the job...he's off and running again helping someone else...teaching Them how to love...all over again. I Love you Daddy and I'm SO damn proud of you. Here's to you...now and forever. I'll see you over there........

Yet, we DO know what we know; someday together again.

Love the pictures!

If this weiner dog wakes me up again at 6AM, I'm calling you and waking you up - that's 5AM your time. hahahaha

I can see that you have Fathers Day in this time of the year. In Norway it is in the autumn.
I also notice that you celebrate that day more than we does.
But schoolchildren makes cards for their fathers, and some dads are so lucky that they get flowers also. .......
It is good to see you enjoyed the day yesterday.
Have a blessed week!
Hugs from me...

Dear Donna,

Yes, isn't it strange how we can be happy, here with the ones we love, yet still miss our loved ones, so much, who have gone on?

My dad has been gone about 45 years, but I still think of him often.

Hugs))

Brenda- Just get a frozen pie shell, thaw it for about 15min on the counter top. Grab a bowl & crack about 8 eggs into it, whip well, add as much cheese as you like and Any kind you like, chop 2 med to large tomatoes and add to mixture...Just add Anything you like at this point. Now fry up a small tube of sausage and drain. Let cool(best to do this first so it can be cooling) Add this to the mixture...stir. Pour into 2 pieshells and spread cheese on top of each. Pop into a 350 oven for 35 to 40minutes or until it's done in the middle..Voila!! Happy eating sweetie!!hughugs

Junie- Goodness! You lost your Dad Early on, didn't you...I'm so sorry sweetie!! They Are with us though...Happy day Girl!!hughugs

What a beautiful family you have. Crystal has the sweetest face!

This is life, the interaction of human beings for a finite amount of time, then the gaping hole they leave when they've gone--or rather the significant presence they have whether they're here in the flesh or not.

Try to stay cool! It has cooled off here to normal temps for June (low 80s), but it's still sticky.

Donna said...

Thanks Sandy...your words are So appreciated and always welcomed!! Hope your day is a Wonderful one!hughugs
