Steak and Fried Okra


Fried Okra

Gads...I did a Mean couple of rib-eye steaks out on the grill!

Well, nothing much going on here. This is what I fixed Hubby for Father's Day. It turned out really good. I was quite pleased with myself! Hubby tucked into dinner and I didn't hear Anything from him until he came up for air!LOL...
Crystal and the Granbabies are out on a date...to the movies. She Told me the name of it...hummmm....Hedgehog Worts from Planet Zenon???? Oh well. Something like that? I have No clue. This was T's idea. Hope they like it. It Should be good if it's a Disney movie?? Crystal's rear is Dragging!!LOL...All that moving, late night phone calls...New association! Guess we'll hear about it tonight on a late post from her OR we won't because she fell face first into her pillow! Bless it's little heart!LOL..........I'm heading that way myself. Ya'll have a happy sleep OR morning cuppa coffee.....

It is not dinnertime here yet, today I shall have fish for dinner.

Lille- How do you prepare the fish?? Do you grill outside?? And the temp has been a few degrees cooler here...96...lolol...Happy day sweetie!!hughugs

I don't grill it outsde, just in the frying- pan on the owen. I have onion and vegetables and potatoes together with it when i eat the fish.
In Norway we eat potatoes more than chips.But young people doesn't eat so much potatoes here...

I haven't had fried okra in years and years, but it looks just like I remember....mmm, I think you've inspired me to cook some up this weekend for something different to serve...always looking for new flavors!

Ooh, those steaks look delicious. What are they coated in? I love okra, but I've never had them fried in batter (or is that breadcrumbs?). It's well past my bedtime, so I'll wish you goodnight.

Dabrah- My Hubby makes up a special dry rub for steak and the batter is just carbonated water with flour mixed in to creat a batter....Happy sleep sweetie!!hughugs
