Tim Russert


Tim Russert passed away this afternoon, of a heart attack, while at work in the newsroom..He'd Just gotten back from a vacation in Italy with his wife and son..I don't like too many reporters....Russert? I Respected..Bless his heart. He was 58yrs old.

I haven't seen him for a long time but used to and thought he seemed like a decent guy.

I was very saddened to hear this. Way to young and he was such a straight up guy. Always enjoyed his commentary.

I just saw this on our news. I thought he was ok. I don't like when people die so sudden. I bet his wife and son are very shocked and sadden.

It's quite shocking when people die suddenly and unexpectedly, and especially when it's someone we admire and respect.

He was the reason I watched Meet the Press...he managed to make sense of people who couldn't seem to put a complete sentence together without insulting someone at the table. He was an honest Journalist, the likes of which we see so little of these days. He will be sorely missed

Brenda- Yes. He brought the show back from the brink of extinction...made it worth watching again...No, nothing big planned here...probably will just clean some more and watch the driveway for ...visitors..LOL....night sugar...hughugs

Another great individual who passed away too young. I've always liked and respected him. I'm so sorry for the world of broadcast, and especially for his family. May God rest his soul.

This makes me so sad. I just hate reading these kind of things. This is how my Mom died and brother so whenever I hear about someone dying of a sudden heart attack it just makes me so sad.

I was really surprised when I heard this. He really seemed like a great guy. Great smile. From all the info on TV about him now, he was very close to his family and down-to-earth.

Hi, came from Joni's. I posted about Tim also. I am shocked as is the rest of the world. Thinking of him and his family all weekend, especially Luke. What's an election year without Tim! So sad.
