Sounds of Silence

Sometimes, when I get home from work, Especially lately, I come into the house...check on little Dog, and just sit on the couch listening to the...silence! No phones ringing, no TV blaring, no radio...just silence. I close my eyes and just...listen...Nothing. Peace...how nice. BUT, that only last for a few minutes but at least it allows me enough time to get centered again and start planning supper. Asking Hubby, on the way out from work, what he'd like, he suggested I make potato soup...Yes! Sounded good, so I did! It hit the spot...If you want my recipe go HERE.Well, here's hoping you all are having a good Wednesday...Now I have to think of something Else for tonight's supper!LOL...never ending job!

All these pictures and talk about food...you're killing me! Although, I need to figure out what we are going to have for supper, too.

I enjoy the quite times as well. After a hectic day and phones ringing, sometimes the quite is wonderful. Maybe thats why I love to work out in the yard. When my husband comes home - the tv automatically comes on.
Hope you have a great week!
