You're Getting Warmer...

I must admit that it IS getting warmer. It's been hovering around 100 degrees for days now. We have a slight chance for rain Thursday...maybe. I will Not complain though. I DO NOT like the cold and especially cold with rain. I'll suffer the heat Anyday.
I took this when we went to San Antonio a few weeks ago...and I Can't remember it's name!! They can get huge under the proper conditions. Do you recognise it? I gave it to my SIL since her thumb is green...Mine is a definite, smudgy black!
Other than that, nothing huge has been going on here. Hubby found a wet spot on his office carpet...We have A/Cs upstairs in the attic so I said the condensate line was probably stopped up...He thought it might have come from the old Dr Pepper machine on the opposite wall. I'll be curious to see who was right when he gets home...Hahaaa...
Hope you all have a Happy night...Is it Friday yet?

We have been hot, too, with nasty afternoon thunderstorms. That's weather in the south, though.

Yes Mam, it is HOT HOT HOT, but that's so much better than being Cold!
Hope you have a great week and its not the Dr. Pepper machine causing the problems!

Wow that it warm...the picture...and your temps. I don't like temperature extremes in either direction. Nice 60-70 degreee days would be just right for me. Hope you find the water problem.

I don't know what it's called but it sure is bright and colorful. How pretty. I'm with you on the heat. I'll take sweating over freezing any day. We've been at around 82 every day.

Beautiful flower !! :) It has been SOOO hot here too !! Heat index today was over 100. But that is the heat and humidity in the midwest. I know that it will be very hot in Florida when I will be there for a week !!

I hope the AC was nothing serious !!

What an AWESOME flower!!! I Love it!!! The color is great!! We haven't been THAT hot...but high 80's is HOT enough for me!! I don't do well with humidity due to my health issues.

Hope it cools down for you soon...

Is it humid, too? It's been mid to upper 80's here every day, but humid as hell, which makes it pretty uncomfortable! However, I;m with you, I will suffer the heat anyday before the cold!!

It is a legume family, I hoped someone would know, guess you need to call the owner. Beautiful!

You're definitely in the right place if you like warm and don't like cold.

What a gorgeous flower that is! You'll have to post the name!

Ohhhh, I do love Dr. Pepper...it's not nearly as popular on the West
Coast as it is in the South.
