Forward...
Going to get my mind off of what we all had to deal with in West, Texas and Boston this past week...going to a photo shoot of Sami's (granddaughter) last prom. She's a senior and this is "it". Time moves on and in a forward and fluid motion. Tears need to be dried and we need to focus on the world around us...the hear and the now. All we can do is pitch in where we can help, give hugs and kisses, and keep on going. We can do this if we stick together...I believe most powerfully in the word, We.
Have a sweet and peaceful day everyone and thanks for all the love you've shown to Texas! Now Get out there and try to enjoy the day!

With hope that Sami's last prom will be wonnnnnderful!
So happy that your family has something lovely like this, going on. Let it fill all of you, with Joy. And let this Joy, carry you onward.
We... Yes, a very powerful word.
Many hugs, to all.....
I remember proms as being so magical. The beautiful dresses, corsages and the thrill of going with someone special.
Here's hoping Sammi's prom is perfect!
We have to keep our sense of gratitude for each and every day we have on this earth. Make them count! It's a glorious day here in East TN and we're going out for a drive to let nature entertain us.
Hold tight to those loved ones, Miz Donna!
My daughter has prom the first week of May--I can't wait. It's such an exciting time for those kids. It is in their happiness that we find respite from the bad in this world.
I want to go to PROM!! :)
Hope Sami has an awesome time; this is a pivotal moment in her life. I know you're all so proud of that beauty.
Rained all this morning, but sunny now; guess I better go walk - hmmm NO. :)

YES, my friend, we WILL stick together! *HUGS*
Gorgeous Flowers - sandie
So true, Miss Donna~ moving forward is the only way to go from here.. no going back. Besides, there are proms to go to! YAY!!! :) ((HUGS))
Proms are awesome!! I have very fond memories of mine and my daughter's!
We need to move forward!!!
I'm not sure if this will be a "getting out" day. It's sunny but still windy and a bit chilly. Enjoy the shoot.
Wonderful, gorgeous picture! And we really ARE all in the pink, now that there are no terrorists on the loose! Are these your flowers? Are they Gerbera Daisies?
I love your header. I've been missing awhile, but trying to get back.
Donna,
I appreciate your blogger friendship so much. Having lived in Texas three different times (the last time was for five years) I feel close in so many ways to that area of the world. The West, TX tragedy was so horrible and I wanted you to know that I posted that flag on a prayer Board and I have been praying, and many others. You are a dear for understanding why I want people to get more than an occasional dose of the "regular" news and wake up to all that is happening in our country right now. I appreciate that support since most everyone who blogs just want to be uninformed about so much that matters. Little Tricia (Bluff Area Daily) also understands. I'm going to quit trying I think to get anyone to listen, even though I have actually said very little. They don't want to know, so I'm done. The thing is, I have spiraled down into a pit I can't seem to get out of, and have lost interest in a lot of things, but I am trying to maintain my NORMAL too...so I get it. :-) Take care!
OH these are beautiful! I need copies of all of them!!! I love your editing!
