West, Texas....

Live Stream Coverage from our area Link

Please pray for the families and victims of the explosion at a fertilizer plant in West, Texas.  It happened about 15 miles north of us here in Waco...So far, 15 and more dead, over 200 injured.  This was an early morning count.  More on the way.  Homes, an apartment building and nursing home and so much more. were destroyed.  It registered 2.8 on the Richter scale as far away as Amarillo.  Until the clean-up begins, we do not know the true count of lives lost.  At the moment of typing this, my heart is SO heavy...we are already finding out about people that Tim (SIL) and Crystal knew are now...gone.  Tim has been up all night running oxygen and supplies to area hospitals.
And I'm also Angry....Last night after the explosion, LOOTERS began going into homes that had been damaged....God give us the strength....

It's truly earth shattering. I share your broken heart.

Praying hard here.

Love you all very much.

I have been sitting here watching it on the news. This one picture...it looks like an atomic bomb. They are still saying it is too hot to get close. I hope it was not the Boston person...

Unbelievable that people will prey upon people anytime, but especially during horrible times like this.
So much to pray for in our nation.

You are the first person I thought of when I heard this was near Waco. So, so sad for all the ones that have been affected by this tragedy. Thankful you and your family are safe though.

Oh, dear Donna! How sad we all are about this! So much tragedy in this country right now, and so much evil! God e with the families and friends of all who were affected. God give the First responders strength! And God send comfort and strength to the whole area...both West and Waco and also Boston!

Answer me a question....we heard that there was a newspaper story on Tuesday saying that for the next three days there would be the biggest Emergency preparedness Exercise EVER in the very hospital where people are being taken. Is that true.

May I copy that first "photo" for my Pinterest group Board that asks for prayer?

What an awful and sobering happening. Thankfully, you and yours are fine, but many are not. All the bets.

My heart breaks for the the folks in West, Texas and their friends, families! There has been so little information on the news about the destruction. All eyes have been on Boston, and it seems the media is only interested in the East Coast folks, the heck with fly-over country. I will keep the folks in your area in my thoughts and prayers.
