You, My Friends...

Good morning, friends...Have I told you how grateful I am to have found you all?  Your kind words...prayers that you pray for a virtual friend?  Your advice about everyday living?  Ideas to help make my life a little easier.  How you allow me to try to be helpful when I read your post and you've had a hard time or you're just sad?
I just want to say Thank you!  You brighten my otherwise sad world, at times, with so many smiles!
I call you, my friend. <3

And then ...there's the few in my life that I'd love to...lolol

I'm sure there are people that have or would do something this awful to someone else who they feel has "wronged" them...I never in a million years, could!

Lolol...too funny and Too True!

Potato soup fully loaded.

Our Sloane is preparing her outfit for Easter...

My Larry has been sick for a week now...Started out with stomach pain...gassy (flatulence), then congestion...fever...fatigue.  He's just now feeling better (I treated the symptoms because he refused to go to urgent care!!!)  Thank God it worked because he really had me worried for a hot minute while watching his breathing!  I was worried about pneumonia.  I told him if he wasn't better by the morning, and he was still refusing to go to the doctor, I would call for an ambulance!  He was better by morning...and is now 98% his old self.  In fact, he has his annual Labs this morning and if there's a high white cell count, it should show up.

Tuff looking at his offspring...Candy.

Our little Candy is getting bigger!  I'll bring her home in two more weeks.  I also purchased Pet Insurance from Nationwide.  If it is a good deal, I'll put my older pups on the coverage, as well.
Well...guess that's about it for me this week.  Hope your worlds are safe and peaceful...until next time...

Awww, such sweet words Donna. This blogging world we belong to is like a big family, and my blogging friends have helped me through the sad and stressful times. We here for you any time you need us my friend, and a big hug from me. Sorry to read that Larry was under the weather. Aren't men like that? Wild horses could not drag them through the doctor's doors :) I have one of those at my home too :) Sloan looks so cute all decked out, a beautiful child and an adorable photo with Larry. She puts sunshine into any day I'm sure. Tuff and Candy are adorable! Happy Thursday!

Whoops! Forgot to mention the yummy soup and the chuckles. I may have left another message for this lovely post at another, so apologies if I have :) Still early in the day for me I guess.

I took two COVID tests and both were negative. I had my flu shot so did not believe I had flu. Went to Doctor on Monday and he told me about a virus going around that takes anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks to get over. Just hitting my third week I am hopeful to be able to breath and to stop coughing and to get over headache and dizziness very soon.

Did you hear that your pups are now the most popular breed, by-passing the Lab?

Ohhhh, adorable sloane! It's hard for me to write more words after her name...she's such a doll.
Hope the blood work is good news. And the critter photos are darling (Candy is growing up).

Be well sweet friend.

Virtual friend?
I can see you with my tele-vision
You can't see me? :)

Hopefully Larry will get a good report today on lab work.

Sloane? She is just the most precious little one. I love her!

Glad that Larry is doing better, being sick is not fun. Tuff has a concerned look on his face but still looks rather Tuffish living up to his name. :) Enjoy your day!

I wonder if Mr. Larry had Covid?
That potato soup looked so good.
Loved the cartoons.
I too feel like baking someone a pie - but I can't either.
Have a good evening.

Thank you for your kind words, Donna. I've also met so many wonderful people in blog land, and it seems they have just the right thing to say when we're struggling with something. Oh, little Sloane is too cute in her Easter ears. Your potato soup looks delicious, and with some bread, even better. I'm not sure what the first lady is doing with the pie? But I do know that God sees all, and I believe when someone wrongs us in life, God will make things right again. I hope your husband feels better with each new day. That baby pug is so cuddly and cute.

Ahhh Donna, I'm so glad I found your blog and we have been able to chat back and forth a bit.
This perks up my day and your photos of Sloane are so precious.
Praying that your Hubby's labs will be good and that he will continue to feel better. Sometimes we do have to threaten to get the results.
These men of ours scare us sometimes for sure.

Yes, I'm smiling at Sloane, she looks adorable in her bunny ears! It's so good a trip to emergency was avoided, with covid still out there it's worrisome when we get sick. Enjoy reading your blog today!!!
