Babies and Doctors...

Good morning, friends...
Hubby Larry went to his doctor's visit last Monday to find out about the pain he had experienced in his upper abdomen area while he was sick last week...coughing, upper respiratory.  His doctor thinks it was a gallbladder attack and has ordered an ultrasound.  He goes in on the 27th of this month.  We will know more then.
You take two steps forward then get knocked back, four...

Here's our Sloane (R) enjoying her parents new Australian Shepard puppies.  I think they were all promised to new homes after a day of offering them on their Facebook post.  They are cute.  New babies of all kinds are precious.

Our little Candy is almost ready to come home with me!  I've got everything ready for her.  She should be ready after the 31st.  Nothing like the smell of babies and new puppies!

Breakfast while blogging...

Exactly how I'm feeling...lol

Our Sloane making her grandmother, Lolli, happy by sending her a huge grin!

I've paid for the car behind me, in line, at a fast-food drive-thru during the holidays, but this makes SO much more sense!  And it's so true!  Can you imagine, as a child, standing in the lunch line and being told you can't eat because your lunch ticket has no money on it??  Happens more often than we know.

I took this photo several years back.  The Bluebonnets are out again right now and growing everywhere.  And it's also true that if you live or are passing through Texas and want to stop and take a photo...be careful of your step!  Snakes also love bluebonnets., great ground cover.

Just be safe...be aware of your surroundings at all times.

Lolli and Pops having a sweet moment with their SloaneyGirl...Note*the hand resting on Pop's arm...he was in Heaven!

Well, that's all for now...Hope your week is going smoothly and you are happy and well.
Until next time...

Oh my gosh I could sit and look at your photos all day. That new pug puppy of yours is ADORABLE as well as Sloane.
That one pug is a little fat - know how he feels.
You are RIGHT - pay for a child in school. I love that.
I hate snakes.
Love the blue bells!

The school lunch idea is a great one. So true.
Snakes are one thing I don't miss about Texas. That and the heat. But otherwise, I love my home state and its people.
That's a beautiful family you have there! :)

That baby is the most adorable thing. I wish I could just cuddle her!

Those snakes would keep me from getting close to the blue bells but they sure are beautiful. Candy is so adorable and so is Sloane. Great idea to pay a childs overdue account, no kid should ever go hungry. Nice post, Donna and have a wonderful weekend.

Oh Donna, what precious pups! Wish I could hold one right now! We are dog lovers, and at this time cannot have any pets. But our Molly Girl, (shih Tzu) we had for 15 years. She was such a blessing to my dearest. We miss her.

Your breakfast looks good and I love the plate. Dishes and Linens are a fettish of mine. I can't seem to get enough cloth napkins!! HaHa.

Enjoy your visits!!

Tell Larry if they recommend having his gallbladder removed to do it asap before it flairs up again! My gallbladder attack a few years ago was excruciating and I ended up with emergency surgery. On Christmas eve of all times! That picture of Sloan and her grandparents is adorable! The hand on the arm is priceless! XO

So much sweetness in this post, I hardly know where to start. The puppies are adorable, the Bluebonnets too, but Sloane's little arm on her grandfather's arm is priceless.
I don't think we have lunch tickets out here but that idea certainly makes a lot of sense!!
Have a great weekend.

Hello Donna, thank you for your comment on my blog!
What a gorgeous great-granddaughter you've got! You are truly blessed.
And I bet you can't wait to welcome little Candy to your home. What a cutie!
Keeping my fingers crossed for your hubby's ultrasound.

Hope all goes well with Larry when he goes for his ultrasound.
That's a great idea paying for school lunches. Makes sense

Lovely photos. Those snakes, oh dear.
Hope your husband will be alright, gall bladders certainly can be a problem especially the pain!

Hi Donna! Nothing is cuter than babies and puppies and this post is full of both. Little Sloane is an absolute doll. What a blessing to your family. I hope your husband's doctor can find the problem and help him out. Medical issues are so worrisome. I hope you have a good Sunday. See you again soon!

Hi Donna! Thanks for stopping to visit, so in turn I might 'meet' you and your beautiful family. Some of the best days of my life were spent in Texas (Abilene), but you know, I never paused to visit the Bluebonnets.

I don't know who's tugging harder at my heartstrings -- your new puppy or Sloane. (Love her name!)
I hope tomorrow's ultrasound gives y'all some answers -- and peace of mind!

Hello. And thank you for commenting on my blog. Those puppies are so cute and I'd love to have another one - eventually. Your granddaughter is just adorable! I will pray for a good report for your husband tomorrow.

The puppies and babies are so cute. Love the joke about Spring rolls except we are in Autumn. Thanks for visiting my blog.

What a wonderful post, Donna. A little of this, a little of that, my favorite kind. I do hope everything is well with your husband's ultrasound. That is the cutest picture of the little ones with the puppies! I want an Australian Shepard now haha. I love that blue plate that your breakfast is on. Kind of looks like a Pioneer Woman plate. I always appreciate when the person in front of me buys my Starbucks, such a nice gesture. And paying for a child's lunch account is a good one also. I have heard about the beautiful Texas Bluebonnets. I have a few other Texas blog friends. Yikes, didn't know the snakes hover around in the grasses of the Bluebonnets though. What a sweet photo of Sloane and grandparents. This is a picture to treasure and always keep. And lastly, I love that "dog rolls" photo. So true. ; )

Yikes on the snakes!!
They are the one thing that gives me the Willies!!
Oh how precious are the photos of Sloane and her Grandpa.
Today is the 27th and I hope all is going well for your Hubby's appointment. Gall Bladder is so painful. I went through that 4 years ago and am so grateful its gone. Prayers for you and him too.
I agree that paying for the Starbucks person is rather redundant..I would rather pay for someone that really needs the help and boost.
Thanks for commenting on my post.
I was so happy my idea for the photo actually turned out like I wanted it too.

The bluebonnets are beautiful this year. I have a friend who lives in the hill country and she says they are so thick this year you can smell them. Hope hubby is okay, gall bladder pain is so bad, maybe a change of diet will help. As always, little Sloane is adorable.
