Good morning, Friends...Just stopping in to let you know everything is okay with Marie, across the street... (read my last post). I guess she never even saw the A/C van parked out in front of our house. Nothing's been said in person or on Facebook...She hasn't befriended me...lol
Hopefully, all is well...
I hope all of you are doing good? I pray so...
This recipe looks easy! I'll be trying it... Let me know if you do, as well!
Playing with stitches on the sewing machine...Larry said they looked like ticks...I had to do some adjustments...lol
Trying to finish the quilt. It's been one thing after another and some laziness on my part...
I did an AI photo of our Libby...it turned out almost like her!
I also did one of our Buddy...I never could get one to look like him and he's certainly not a puppy at 14!
Right!
Well...that's about it for me, this week...I know...a bit boring but I'm really thankful it's been boring. I had a YAG laser posterior capsulotomy done on my Right eye last Friday and will have the Left one done, this Friday. All it does is clean the lens of scar tissue which had caused my vision to be a little misty white. Took about 10 seconds to do with the laser...no pain...sitting up position...clothes on! The wait took an hour and a half!!! (not every patient was there for a YAG procedure) Larry called it, a cattle call! One patient after another...Hopefully, the wait time will be shorter this next time...my appointment is at 8:25am. The other was at 11:05am. Wish me luck...If you are experiencing the same, ask your doctor about a YAG procedure. It helps clear things up.

sorry to hear Sloane was feeling under the weather. Really I would not worry about Marie, you have to do what is best for you and of course your purse strings. the good looks yummy. love that rose and you pup pictures are really good. when Bing AI came out I lived on it, I have moved on and use it once in a while.. now I am playing with procreate and about to give up on it and look for something else
Aww, poor little Sloane, bet she had lots of cuddles from you and Larry. Your eye thing sounds horrendous! Hope it helps you.
Glad all is well with Marie.
I'll have to save that recipe for cream of chicken soup. I've had recipes that called for a can of it but I didn't have any. That would come in handy.
Sorry to hear Sloane wasn't feeling well.
Glad there were no troubles with Marie.
That cream of chicken soup recipe sounds good and handy to have around.
I like your sewing stitch and I see mice.
Now I want an air fryer and the Zwilling thing. It's getting expensive for me to come here!
So sorry little Sloane has another ear infection. I sure wish she doesn't get any more of them. I've never heard of YAG procedure before. I hope the procedure with the other eye all goes well. Every now and then I'll get a Big Mac and fries, but the one up here shut down, so won't be going in the near future. I LOVE your quilt and all the blue. And I always drool when I see your meals. : )

Ear infections a not nice, so hope Sloane is feeling much improved - children bounce back as you know, much quicker than older people.
The AI's are lovely, love doing those myself.
Good luck with your eyes - precious things they are.
Take care.
Poor Sloane bad ears is very painful .
I just bought a crockpot and I saw an air fryer in the shop I may get one ! Your dishes look delicious
Donna, thank you for letting us know how things are with Marie across the street! I loved all of your food pictures and I am copying down the recipe for the cream of chicken soup. I'm so sorry that Sloane has another ear infection. Hope she is all well soon. Thank you for sharing about the YAG procedure. My husband will be having the same thing done soon...we hope. We are currently working at getting his pressures down to where they need to be first. He had laser surgery for that last week and has been using steroid drops. We go back next Wednesday for all of that to be checked.
Thanks for visiting my blog. :) I enjoyed reading yours. :)
I have to say, that plate of Chicken and Chips looks mouthwateringly delicious. Is there anything better???
My sister used to have ear problems when she was young. She stopped getting them when she got older. Chicken and fries gets a big thumbs up from me. :) Have a great week.
Oh I hope Sloane will get over her ear infections. Poor Baby. She looks so peaceful sleeping in her little bed.
Love the photos of your meals. They always make me hungry.
Glad the worry with Marie seems to be okay. She may be hurt but honesty is really the best policy anyway.
Love the pink roses and your pups.
Sue
I'm glad to hear that it all worked out with Marie across the street. But oh, poor Sloane. They say they do grow out of it, indeed, but it's no fun in the meantime.
The embroidered mice look very cute, even if Larry's got a point. Once you got it in your head, they do look a bit like ticks, LOL. xxx
I have to admit - I'm not sure what a Zwilling device it?? I will have to check that out. As well as that recipe for homemade cream soup. There HAS to be a healthier, and not too complicated, version out there! Hope Miss Sloane is feeling 100 percent soon. Oh, and cinnamon rolls in the air fryer - brilliant!!
I can imagine, that some quiet times are good after all these troubles of the last weeks - - months! But a teardrop for dear Solane! Hope she will be completely healthy soon! She is sleeping so sweet with her puppies!
What a blessing, that you don't have distress with your neighbour Mary!
Best wishes for your second YAG procedure!
The "ticks" make me smile! :)))
Your dogs in the roses get a lot of love like roses!
So valuable, that you always have a good and helpful time with sweet Sloane!
I love the blue quilt!
Many greetings and blessings to you - good cook! - and to all your family from Dori from the Bavarian Forest
The 'ticks' are cute and made me chuckle.
I hope the second eye procedure goes as smoothly as the first ( without the long wait in the waiting room).
So sorry Sloane is still having ear infections. My son had them too,but the tubes took care of it. Hugs Sandra sandracox.blogspot.com
A delicious post, food and people. I hope Sloane is soon well again and you all have a lovely weekend.
Real sorry to read that Sloane has been poorly. I hope she feels better very soon. Such precious photos of her. Good to know all was well with Marie. It’s a treat to come here and see the beautiful pictures you choose, and all this yummy food, and the Zwilling device looks very interesting. I went to Amazon and checked it out. Larry is funny, I love your cute ‘ticks’ and pretty heart pattern, and that beautiful quilt. Cute AI photos of the pups. Also, good to know your eye procedure went well, and hope the other one goes as well, and that you don’t have to wait so long in the waiting room! Have a great weekend!
I had not seen that recipe for cream of chicken soup, but it looks good. It also looks easy, and that’s a real plus these days. I think I would probably add some herbs and spices to it, but I think I’m going to give it a try.
Hi Donna, sorry I've been absent from commenting..lots going on. I always love your posts and will be back soon to respond a little better than just a Hi and Bye!! haha.
Awww...poor Sloane. Keeping all in prayer, my friend.
How's Salone now? Hope she's well soon.
She's much better! Thank you for asking!
hugs
Donna
When I read zwilling device I must admit I hadn't got a clue what it was but then I saw what it does and all became clear :-)
I am thinking of you with your two eye procedures and pray that all goes well and you have better vision.
Poor Sloane. It must be so miserable for her when she gets those infections. I hope she soon grows out of them.
Loving the quilt with all the variations of blue. Very pretty.
Have a lovely week x
The home-cooked food all looks so good. I never ever ever eat at McDonald's so Bill Gates ain't feeding me a thing, hahaha! I hope your Sloaney girl is feeling better now! xoxo
I was having my annual meeting with sewing/quilting friends and one of them is very creative and showed us how she embellishes clothing with those fancy stitches that come on your machine. It wasn't as dorky as I imagined....and I'm inspired. The other gal mentioned something she saw---a "binder" of squares of fabric. Each had some rows of the stitches so that you could easily see which one you would like to use at a quick glance.
