The Brenda Photo Challenge (10-17-09) Highways

Eating and watching the train go by...
A deserted old bank in town...

On the way to Moody...
We were on the way to a Dairy Queen (invited by Hubby's parents) in a small town called Moody...no mountains...just hills. The food was pretty good though but that's another post...Thanks for playing along Guys! Now I'm on the way over to see yours!! Have a great Saturday!

Hi Donna,
Enjoying driving around your part of the world. :)
That's an impressive old bank building. Sad it isn't in use.
The Dairy Queen was a staple in my college days!

Love the photos...and my favorite from DQ is chicken fingers and white cream gravy! Yum. Of course, it has been about ten years since I've allowed myself to indulge, but after this challenge, it will not be another ten years, more like within the next couple of weeks.

My photos are up:

Love empty roads like that last picture. Was it empty or were you just flying ahead of everybody? Great pictures!

A town named Moody, love it! Now that's a spot Matt would love BBQ Beef and a train! And that hill on the way to the DQ is very cool! Can't wait for those pics now.

Enjoyed riding along with you. And who could turn down an invite to Dairy Queen?

We'd be all in for watching eating and watching the train go by at our house. Instead it's eating and watching a youtube video about trains. Again. The 3-year-old's obsession is huge.

Lovely pictures. thanks for sharing!

Ah the lure of the empty road! Great photos... especially like the last one! It has been so interesting to the by-ways the so many photo bloggers cross.

Sorry about the tree! :)

The photo of the deserted bank building is almost eerie.

Donna, I'd grab that sandwich while watching the train. I love the price too!

The FM 107 sign sounds like a radio station!

I am glad I joined this challenge, and I look forward to the next, I wonder what it will be.

Enjoy your weekend!
