Trying to Learn New Ways...

Alright Donna.. at Cottage Days....Is this right?? I'm Still trying to figure out about Photobucket and uploading photos from there...I think they will look better if there Are. Once I got to get my work out of the way and settle in, it wasn't complicated. Just make Sure you start off using Minima as your template because...I was using Minima Stretch and the coding is different!!LOL...That took me about 30 minutes to finally figure out! Then complete Donna's instructions (4 basic steps)...THEN upload a 3 column Background (if you want to, but not necessary) and you're good to go! THANK YOU DONNA!!! I've still got tweaking to do, but it'll get there.

I'll put the link to Donna's instructional post on my sidebar so I'll always have it. Feel free to do the same! Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Yep, you're getting it!!! Woohoo, look at you! Yep, that Minima Stretch or Lefty or any of the other variations will mess it up! That's why I said Minima, LOL.

The graphic you have posted looks like it was a pretty low resolution image to start with. So stretching it out is going to empahsize the big 'ol pixels. It's better to just leave those low resolution images unstretched (or else they are going to look blurry).

It looks like your Picasa images are stretching for you, and they wouldn't do it for me beyong a 400 by 400 pixel width! So you got it to do something that I couldn't figure out!

You also have a white rectangle eating into the left kitty's hat on your header. Not sure why that is going on!

I'm not an html wiz-bang, but I hope that others can use my instructions! Glad to see you are making progress!

Ok so where the heck have I been that I've missed so many of your posts? I've got some catching up to do here. I'm loving that header of yours, it's adorable.

That's what I use for my pictures too Donna. It also leaves me more storage on WordPress but eventually I'll need more space on PhotoBucket to store. Oh well, will worry about that down the road. Funny cartoon! And sorry about your FB troubles. Too many applications going on there it gets everything mucked up and hacking now! Ick!

Donna, I have prepared a description of how I load larger pictures on my Adelaide in Photos blog.

The main difference to what Donna at Cottage Days has suggested is the way I post the larger pictures; I resize them from within the Blogger post itself.

Storage doesn't seem to be a problem; I have been posting for two years and I am only using about 10% of the allowance.

You can see my tutorial here:
