Well...I have taken the day off from my Daytime job to do a little cleaning on my Full time job. In the spare bedroom, I got a Little carried away...Hahaaa.....I was washing the closet doors down, when....well, I guess I just rubbed too hard and knocked one of them off it's roller! Hubby should just Love this! It's Great mental therapy though....mindless, robotic. Just what I needed. I had the Grankids last night and Sami said she needed to get up by 5:30am to get ready for school....Geez Louise! Well, I woke her up (and let Will sleep). A couple of minutes after I woke her up, she was Up and At'em! I couldn't let her put me to shame so I started in with the cleaning. And oh yes, I made the breakfast...Bacon, biscuits, eggs. Then, off we went to the bus stop (Sami doesn't like me to take her to school...someone might see her!Hahaaa) and after throwing myself in front of the bus to get it to stop, Sami jumped on. Then Back to the house to wait (and to clean) for 45 more minutes to take Will to school (Will loves me to take him to school...doesn't like the bus)! So now, it's early afternoon and I'm still looking around at all the stuff I need to do. The holidays will be here soon and I don't want those nagging dark corners waking me up at night! And WHY does dust Always seem to settle on those light fixtures in the bathroom??? You know the ones I mean...deep groves that looked SO pretty in the store?Hahaaa....should of had my head examined Before I bought them!

I was a cleaning machine for a while. It felt so good to throw out all that clutter and really get everthing clean at one time. I did pretty good for awhile but dropped off. I need to get back to it. It was good to have certain days to clean the various rooms in my house. And the front porch even got it's due.
Once I get started, I really don't mind cleaning. It is just getting my behind in gear to do it. : )

I have always had a cleaning lady. From being single to being married. She comes every two weeks and closer to Christmas, although, we don't plan on having anyone for Christmas this year. *HUGS*
Where do you get your energy? School starts at 8 here so I start waking Olivier at 6 - it takes around 45 minutes to get him out of bed!
Now I'll have to clean something... I did buy a bottle of indoor wood cleaner yesterday, that's a start, isn't it?
I am sure you are happy with your house cleaned.
A day off wasn't off at all, I guess.....

I hate cleaning but I sure love the results! My kitchen is soon to get the cleaning of its lifetime because we are having it redone! Lots of work coming up!!
Working and keeping up with things around the house can be so hard. Nuts isn't it that you have to take a day off from work to catch up.
Oh my... I should be doing my cleaning too. You can bet I'll be too tired tomorrow after sitting here all night (it's 1:56am... I'm such a dope!).
Looking forward to "Yellow"! Still have no camera, but I'll figure something out.

I hate to admit but i have full-time house staff so what's cleaning???? That is why I can spend so much time on this s-l-o-w computer!!!!
Back in the days when I still did cleaning I used to set a record on the turntable (you can tell how long ago this was) and I'd only clean for the length of time it took the record to play which was all of 15 minutes.
Nowadays I don't clean anymore. Can't see the dirt anymore. LOL
