The Brenda Photo Challenge (2-13-09) Red

Both of the above are photos of my sister's handwork...The top one is my favorite....She does Everything by hand...Gorgeous work! I have NO patience when doing needlework...Ruth Ann has been quilting for years.
These are dolls that my Dad made in the last few years of his life. I love the red lips.
Well, these are my offerings! I'm on my way over to visit YOURS!!! And it Should be a Whole lot easier now with the new link system! Go here to visit all the other participants photos!
Y'all have a Great Saturday!

I just sped through the last few posts. I'm behind again. Buddy in pink was sweet. The OsoBucco looked scrumptious! Sorry about the cold, we're getting warmer than usual (50's) but still raining. I'm ready for lots of sunshine! It's after midnight and I still didn't get any photos taken for "red"... maybe next time.

Hugs!

I love quilts and those two are beautiful. One of these days I'm going to make one.
You're dad must have been one crafty guy, those dolls are great

I love quilts too...those are great, and fancy your Dad making dolls, how clever.

I have just done a color red post, and the submissions are closed. Oh dear.

Oh, those quilts are lovely! I adore quilts on the bed! You sister is so talented. It's not easy to piece those triangles! And the red lips on the doll is precious. All great choices for the challenge!

And the linky system is working GREAT! Thank you!

Quilters must be calm and have patience to create their master pieces...looks as though your sister might be both. Beautiful quilts and photos! the last photo should be in its own category...very tender!

Have a good week end!

While the second quilt is truly beautiful, I agree with you and the first is my favorite and quite unique. The dolls are so sweet and probably most treasured since your dad made them.

Quilts are one of my favorite things, I love both of these. The top one is my favorite because the pattern reminds me of one my grandmother made. The dolls are beautiful.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I love the quilts. I have made several and I do all mine by hand. However, I may be doing one by machine just to see how it turns out. I do love it though.
