Morning Everyone! Just wanted to answer the question concerning what I meant about the edges on photos when you don't enlarge a photo correctly. The first photo of my sweet baby girl, Crystal, was enlarged correctly...The second one was not. See the "edges" or Outline of the objects in the photo? Looks jagged doesn't it?!! Not a nice thing to have when you want to show off your latest photo achievement! I fought this for two years until Donna, of Cottage Days, posted several tutorials on her blog. There are SO many different things to learn about your blog...And blogging. I guess it just depends on how much time you want to invest. I LOVE Photography and really want my photos to look nice so, I feel the extra time is worth it. Maybe you're more, "The Writer"... more concerned with content...I admit...MY content isn't really that interesting and may bore some of you to tears...LOL...WHAT??? HEARD THAT!!! And Maybe sometime in the future I'll start working on content for you...HAhaaa...But in the Mean time, you'll just have to suffer through it! Well, guess that's it for my content today...Hope you all have a Great Wednesday..(already??) Be Happy!

It's probably just me but I see very little difference between the two pictures. The bottom one may be just a bit blurry but they both look the same to me! Oh well, I am very ignorant when it comes to photo stuff and HTML and whatever. That's why my blog is so boring looking!! Guess I just should concentrate on my wonderful content! LOL! Anyway, your daughter is very pretty and I love that picture of her!
Thanks Jeanette! Oh Yeah, I can tell the difference...but aren't you sweet!!
Trust me...YOUR content is MUCH more interesting than Mine!!Hahaa
Happy day Girl!

Oh, now I know what you mean, sweetie! You need to size your pictures correctly, not only the total pixel size, but also the resolution - pixels per inch. I set my picture sizes now to a max size of 640 by 640 pixels, based on the size of my extending column size (which is what you now have). And I set my screen resolution to 100 pixels per inch. This is an average of what most people can see on their computer screens. Any less than that, you lose image quality. And if you have a small image to start with (less than the max. width size of 640 pixels) and try to blow it up, you are going to lose image quality that way too - even if you had it set at 100 pixels per inch. Those little pixels can only spread themselves so thing before they get too blurry, LOL!
You're learning so that is a GOOD thing! And your daughter looks absolutely beautiful in that picture!!!
I meant to say "spread themselves so thin" not "thing". LOL. Marty must have stomped on the keyboard while I was typing. Yeah, that's my story...
I must be dumb as dirt, 'cause I don't see any difference. But then, I'm old and haven't got really good eyesight for this kind of thing or the patience to try and figure it out. :)
What I DO see is a very happy and beautiful young lady! And, I'm SO happy for all of you! Wish I lived closer so I could peek through the window at the weddin'. I know it's going to be WONDERFUL!! :)
I see an amazing difference between the two shots. i'll have to check out Donna's blog and see what kind of cool tips I can pick up.
Oh That makes a huge difference the cripness to the edges cuts that blurry-ness to the outer finishes.
I need to do some more work via Ms Donnas tut's!
Donna, first of all the content of your blog is NEVER boring. I love reading about your life.
this photo is gorgeous. What photo editing program are you using? xoxo Have a good night punkin.
The first really does look sharper. Thanks for the link too.
I would like for my content and my photos to both be good on my blog but some days...well I just do good to blog. :) Your daughter's photo is beautiful in both images. But I do see a bit of what you are talking about.
Thanks for the info. on photos. I have to say... I love your writing! I always leave your blog smiling. It's because of the honesty and humor you add with your style of writing!
*hugs*
