With the economy the way it IS right now, who knows What it will be by then?!! So if you see something you want to get for a child or Old Aunt Weiser...you need to start now. I think we're going to go somewhere with Hubby's family instead of buying gifts...but we still have our kids and grandbabies to do for. Just starting to get my thinking cap on...This year Should be interesting!Hahaaa...Happy day to you all!!....and STOP all that Bah Humbugging out there!!!Hahahaa..

As our grandbabies get older I look forward less and less to the Christmas holidays. It's harder to please the older ones even if they've told you exactly what they want.

Brit-I'm so sorry sweetie for your loss..my Dad was the same way. We Made him put a tree up anyway and he finally would get in the spirit. Much love to you!!hughugs

Brenda- I know! They Say one thing and when Christmas gets here it's totally something different...I always warn them when they tell me early to Remember This is what they wanted so be happy with their choice! It's worked So far!hahaa...the trick is, to remember the Spirit of Christmas and not the gifts. That you took the time to remember them is what is important along with the love you have for them. Your babies are Indeed fortunate!! You love them like crazy...all year long. You're a great example of the Spirit sweetie...hughugs

Every year in December after running around like chickens with our heads cut off, my husband and I swear to each other that the next year, we will get ALL our Christmas shopping done by the end of July. It hasn't ever happened yet.

Hey, hey, hey! Marty wants to know what is in Santa's glass. He's got those rosy cheeks (the ones showing on his face, haha) and he's looking really jolly. So Marty is thinking that he would like to have a drink like Santa's too! Goodness knows that he needs it with me being grumpy for the past month, LOL!

I love Christmas! Not quite prepared to be shopping for it, but it's fun to start making lists for Santa to check twice. I've been pretty good!

I was just thinking the same thing today, while looking at all the sale ads. Some great bargains that will make nice gifts. I'm going shopping in the morning!

HoHoHo!
