Roy Scheider & Blu Ray Blues

Well, we woke up this morning only to find another wonderful actor who has moved on to a better place. I will NEVER forget his preformances in JAWS, 2010, All That Jazz and Sea Quest. These are the main ones for me. I loved all of them. How about your favorites? Roy Scheider (1932-2008)
I also should have known better to buy a BluRay player for $359.00...out of the box...We were almost three quarters of the way through Elizabeth (1)(older disc), when something happened to the picture, and now it won't play Anything but BluRay disc....It's suppose to also play your regular DVD's with no problems! Hubby said he found a manuel on-line (it was an open box product so hence..no manuel) SO, tonight, we'll get busy trying to figure out what happened. (Hubby was holding the control at the time of the disruption)!! WHAT???!!..LOL...I Swear he was!!!LOL....Wudden ME!!!! So, until tomorrow, y'all have a warm, happy and fun day!

Well durn, second try on commenting.

I'm amazed that you get to hold the remote. I hardly ever get to hold that thing, ha.

I've seen all the Jaws movies more than once, he'll for sure be missed.

Brenda- Did you see All That Jazz? It was really good as well. And it's unusual if I get the remote..lolol...You better be having a good day!!!hughugs

The only time I get the remote is if Roy is sleeping or working. LOL But then I can't figure it out. We just went to DirecTV and their controls are much different that Dish. LOL

I did see that Roy Scheider died. It was scrolling on MSNBC. He will be missed. I love him in Jaws.

Have a good day!

I didn't see that Roy Scheider had died! How sad - he was wonderful in Marathon Man. It's an old movie, but great, and I still have a copy on video!!

I always liked Roy Scheider's line, "You're going to need a bigger boat". It cracked me up. But his role in All That Jazz was so different from the Jaws role. Wasn't he in Blue Thunder, too?
