Well, After All That....

After yesterday's adventure, today's post is probably going to be pretty boring!! I'm having the so called, "brain freeze" today! lol It's warm again today. Highs will be in the 70's. That'll give me a chance to get out in the yard and survey Winters damage so far. I also need to cut back on the rose bushes branches. Here in the south, February is the month to cut back branches. Roses really tend to come back pretty if you do it now.

What will we be doing this weekend? Well, as usual, Hubby will pick up the phone this evening, after 5:00pm to call the courthouse to find out if they will be needing him on Monday for Federal jury duty. He started having to call the first of January. You are on call for three months...hasn't had to serve yet. He'll finish this "calling", hopefully, the last weekend in March. THEN...we're Out of Here...to ...somewhere that involves the 5th Wheel!!! Anywhere! LOL

Well, here's hoping you all have a wonderful, warm and safe evening!

You're really in the Valentines Day spirit, so I hope there is no jury duty to dampen the festivities.

Uh, well, I have to say it's no wonder you have brain freeze after yesterday. hahaha

I cut back my roses last month thinking I was late; now I find out I was early!! Hey, that black spot responds well to being sprayed with liquid Dawn mixed with water; like 1/4 to 3/4 water. At least it does here. Don't try it though 'cause I don't want to hear about it later. :)

What a total bummer. Better that he was honest - one good trait besides his hot looks. Keep doing your due diligence, Momma.

Hi Donna

Enjoy the weather we have spring already, but I'm sure a lot of bad weather follows. Have a very nice weekend.

I'd best get my butt busy this afternoon and cut those roses back! I've been putting it off long enough.

James will be getting busy in the fields soon, the only spare time he has in winter and then he's sooo busy with his hunting. At least I get sort of a break then,,,from having him underfoot so much.

You will be taking LOTS of photos, won't you?

Hi Donna, we're having really warm weather here too, not as warm as you, but warm for England in February. It's very springlike, and I moved the rabbit's run to the top of the slope in the garden, where the grass was almost as tall as she is. She had a very piggy day.
