Sorry gang!!! Playing around with the look of the blog again. Should have it the way I want it by this evening. Hope all of you had a very Merry Christmas! Also went and got myself another new toy....a lens....gulp....Geez, they don't give them away...well, if it is the only other lens I'll need and it'll do everything I need then its worth it. I'll play around with it when I get home and post some pictures.
In a weird way, it was good to get back to work. The kiddos are in daycare (playcare, this time of year) Sami has already text messaged me to come pick her up...she's bored...Crystal has paid $156.00, for three days, for two kids, for her to be bored and picked up....AhhhMannnn....OK...Well?....I'm Gamma. Can't help it. It's something bred into us, slightly older women. The Children in the photo are NOT Crystals...the picture just fit the story. LOL
If you check back and see something entirely different...I been fiddling!

Merry Christmas Donna!!!
I'm jealous of your new lens...I'm almost at the point where a new lens is the next must have. I want something with a larger aperture...either that or an external flash :)
Hope to come back and see some of your pics soon! Do you have an online place where you store them like flickr or picasa or something??
Cheers, Kelly
Kelly-I was told that the lens that came on the Canon Rebel XT is fine for a lot of the outdoor shots but it has problems with lighting. SO...what I got was a Canon EF 28-135mm, image stabilizer lens. Plus, a 72mm PlatinumPlus lens filter circular polarizer(reduces reflections, intensifies colors and deepens sky) Alos got PlatinumPlus(by Sunpak) 72mm Ultraviolet(UV) lens filter(produces sharper and more vivid images and protects lens from scratches and dirt). SO....Hopefully I can get all of this put together tonight and get some inside test shots! Gotta make Tetrazzini with the left over turkey now though, BIG trouble if the "masses" don't get their left overs!! LOL No, I haven't gotten to the point where I need outside storage yet. But I probably will in the near future! You take care and have a wonderful New Years!!! hughug
I always find it how fast kids get bored, right after Christmas. I will be checking back, probably tomorrow, to see what you have done.
Dawn- Isn't it amazing how, with all the gadgets they get for Christmas, you hear..."I'm bored"?...hope you're having a good evening!
I fiddled until I got mine almost the way I want it.
I'm waiting for a new macro lens to come in for my Sony digital. I've had the camera 2 years now and still haven't figured out all the stuff it'll do so I reckon I will leave the SLR ones alone until I learn all there is to learn.
Brenda- Looking good over your way! I just wanted sharper pictures. The new lens hopefully will do the trick! There's LOTS to learn...have a warm night!!!
Your site is looking very good. Have fun with the camera and the kids.
There was a comment above by a "Adam Brown" about some "diet" and a site you should click on. I am unaware of asking Anyone about a diet, and I certainly don't "click" on unknown sites! SO, I tried to check out his site but all that came up was "banking" and Germany. SO...
Anvilcloud- Thanks! Hope your Christmas was wonderful!!! Still haven't had time to even get the new lens put on the camera! Playing catch-up here at work. Have fun today!
My Dad has a Rebel xTi at his house that he's learning how to use. It belongs to the Historical Society he volunteers with, and so Dad let me take some shots with it at our Christmas gatherings! Oh, boy, did I have fun with that!
If only I could get one of those myself...
Jazzi- Oh Goodness...he's got the bigger one then. It is capable of taking really nice shots! Close your eyes and go for it!! LOL
Hi Donna, thanks for stopping by my blog. Merry Christmas (only 2 days late). Your blog is looking really good. I guess you must like Angels, you have some really lovely ones on here.
Dabrah- Welcome! Yes, I love Angels. Always have. Still trying to re-do my site..still not happy with it. Hope your holidays have been happy ones!
