Bubbles and D.B. Cooper

Glitter Graphics - GlitterLive.com

Doesn't this look like fun? It's going to be 83degrees (28.3C) here today! I'll be opening the windows for a while at the house. Won't be able to leave them open for long though...too hot to try to sleep. That means running the A/C for a bit to cool it back down.
SO...I hear they may have found D.B. Cooper's parachute in a farmers field! My goodness, he got away with about $200,000.00 in 1971 by jumping from a plane. Two kids found some strings on the ground and started pulling...Needless to say old D.B. must have lived, if the parachute was buried. Can they Still get finger prints from the parachute after all this time?? It was a Big deal in those days. "Anti Establishment" feelings were still very prominent. Lots of people were "rooting" for him to get away. Looks like he did.

Well I suppose I'd best get to work. Here's hoping your day bounces along happily and lots of warm winds and sunshine come your way.

Or, even better...they find D B Cooper under the parachute but without the 200,000. Old mystery solved, new one begins.

Oh, I can see it is hot in your place. We still have winter, it's cold, but sunny....
We are waiting for spring, you have summer!
We don't use the same degrees that you. We use celcius, I suppose you use farenheit, so I cannot compare.

Have a nice day!

Hi Donna,

I'm suppose to be catching up on work but I'm blog reading. LOL Don't tell on me. I am just catching up with you and it sounds like you had a wonderful Easter and I am envious of the really warm weather though I think it might have hit 60 today. I do not like the fire ants that I read about in your Sat. post. Thanks for all of your well wishes about my new grandbaby, it's been busy but so much fun.

Joan- I'll bet that baby hasn't "hit the floor" yet!!LOL....I'm SO happy for you all!!! Enjoy it sweetie!!hughugs

Thank you for your information.
28,3 is high temperature for me.
Three years ago I was in Italy together wit my sister in law.
In Rome it was 34 grades celcius.
It was too hot for me.
Here in Norway it doesn't use to be so high, and that is good to me.
I love summer, but not too hot.

Donna said...

Lille- I think 34c would be too hot for even me!!lol Have a fun day sweetie!hughugs

When the temperature dropped to 28C last week we felt like we were in heaven. Two weeks of upper 30's was not fun. Enjoy the spring warmth.

Donna said...

Donna, I am so jealous of you for having warm weather. We've had snow, hail, rain and even some sunshine, but also a lot of cold weather here recently. Roll on summer! I had to look D.B. Cooper up, but in fact there's a bell ringing somewhere at the back of my memory. I wonder what happened to him, or even who he really was.

Donna said...

Dabrah- I put a link in my post about him. He made the headlines, world wide. I was such a big story at the time...Anything to get a breather from Viet Nam news.
I don't think they'll Ever find out the whole story...Wish I could bottle some of this warmth and mail it to you!lolol...Have a great day sweetie!!hughugs

28c, is it summer? Not here.

Thanks for your comment and now something about rats. This was my daughters rat and she took him when he was only a few weeks old. But after some time she didn't have time to take care of him and we took him in our house. Most of the time he was free around and always waiting for me to come home. They need a lot of attention when growing up when older they don't get used to people. But I think when you have little kids and to much noise in your house they don't like it. But this one was a sweetie and when he was gone we had some very sad weeks. Sometimes I still miss him. I want him back!!!!!!!!!!

Donna said...

Dick- Oh Goodness!!! I've had pets that I've felt that way about!! Horrible when you loose them!! Ever consider getting another one?? hughugs
