Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday...Elvis

Well he'd have been 73 today!! Hard to imagine...He was a tad before my time but I grew to love him through his movies and music. Favorite movie? Blue Hawaii...What a voice...what a face! What was your favorite?
It's been busier here today and it's a little bit more chilly here as well. Starting it's downhill slide into cold weather again. Just as long as it doesn't rain and freeze!
Crystal got her new computer yesterday...worked great here at the shop, but she forgot to order a mouse with it so she purchased one here locally. Worked fine....got it home and the mouse just quit. Yes, there's the pad mouse on the computer, but that's a pain especially when you want to get "speedy". THEN, We can't remember the pass key on the linksy at home, so she can't get online !!! NOW What???? We're out of ideas!
Well here's hoping you all have a happy and sunshiny day and I'll talk at 'cha tomorrow.

Is it really Elvis's birthday? My brother loved Elvis and used to sing everyone of his songs. Everytime I think of Elvis it reminds me of him (in a good way). 73 wow, it just doesn't seem like he should have been that old now. Not sure what my favorite song is, he had so many good ones. Have a great evening.

My husband will be forever linked with Elvis in my mind. One, my grandfather nicknamed him "Elvis" when we first started dating as teenagers because of his slicked back hair. Two, the week before I lost him, we spent a good deal of time watching Elivs Specials because it was the 30th anniversary. Gosh that doesn't seem like so very long ago.

Joan- It really is..73..time is really flying by isn't it?!! I think I'm going to stay 39 from now on! lollol You have a great night girl!!!

Laura- Hey Sweetheart! Glad you ventured forth to visit me! Black hair like Elvis's is so rare. When it's so black it looks blueish, all I can do is stare!!! lol (But you know the ugly rumour is that Elvis dyed his beautiful locks)!!! Horror!!! LOL
Love you Sweetie!!

Joan(PS)- And I'm SO sorry for the loss of your Brother!! We love them and they leave us...I try to find the fairness in it and can't...but I guess when they have done what they came here to do, they go...Night Sweetheart,

I had no idea he would have been that old. I've been to Graceland but I haven't been to his birthplace in Tupelo.

He had a beautiful voice indeed, my favorite was....the Rolling Stones and I still like them but more the older things. A new computer and no internet, that's not nice. Thank you for your visit.

Have you visited Graceland yet? It's pretty neat, the museums are the best part of the tour.

Hopefully Crystal's laptop is up and going now and all is calm. :-)
