Need a Cracking?

Went to my favorite Chiropractor today for my semi-annual cracking. I either lifted something or slept wrong because my neck has been hurting all week. So, off I went to see the wizard! Cracked it to the left...to the right, then went to work on my back. Heaven...neck bones are back in correct alignment and there's no more pain. Geez, he' good. He's a real sweetheart as well. His wife is battling the "dragon" as well. She's been in remission for just about a year so, his smile becomes brighter every time I see him. Bless their hearts. It's just everywhere isn't it.....I took his picture with my old PhotosmartM537. When I plugged it in to my computer to download his picture, it would not download! Had to take the memory card out of the camera and plug it in to my printer then transfer the picture to the computer...what happened??? Something else to figure out! I loaded the software for my Canon Rebel XT onto the computer...hummmm....I need to call my computer guru....
Wasn't really busy today at work. Just steady. Seems it's going to be in the 70's all weekend and then on Tuesday it's calling for a freeze......not fun.
Well, guess I'll get back to cooking dinner. Beef roast with asparagus and cantaloupe with whipped cream. YES...I COOK!!! LOL......Y'all have a safe, warm and happy night.

My mom took us to chiropractors when we were kids, and we were hardly ever sick! I'd love to be to go again but have too much arthur and his brother. They won't touch me.

I'm glad you feel better! Dinner sounds good, really good. I just now finished some stir fry; gotta start eating those veggies again after, after, well after. :)

Take care!!

Our family doctor is a DO so every so often I'll be all creaky and he does an adjustment for me. Makes me feel like a new woman.

Happy Friday!

I'm headed your way for dinner. I have never had asparagus, but always wanted to try it. How do you prepare it? I like my veggies crispy, not soggy.

Blondie- Come on girl! There's plenty!! lol And thank you for the prayers..before they found out, he was SO "up" about everything...then you know the story...low low low. Today he was "up up up" and was happy when I asked if I could take his picture for my blog. And usually, Fri nites are "every man for himself" nites..lol..But not since the "diet"...Stay warm this weekend! It'll be in the 70s here then freezing by Tues.!!!

Tracy- You and me both! I've warned him if he Ever moves, I'll hunt him down like a dog! LOL
Have a happy night!

Sally- Stir fry sounds wonderful!! And I'm sorry you can't get a "cracking"!! Gads, I don't know what I'd do without one! Those Veggies will be waiting on 'ya! LOL

Brenda- DO's...good ones..are few and far between here. Medical Dr's fight just about anyone who can Really do a body some good! When your skeletal systen is in alignment, everything else works like its suppose to! Stay warm!!

Jenn- Buy the young ones, when you can..they're the skinnier ones. Wash them..water only..lol...pat them dry, get out a skillet and some tongs to turn them with, throw about a Tbsp of butter in the pan, get about 15 stalks and throw then in the pan with the butter. Sort of stir fry them until they aren't stiff...but not soft. Lift them out, put them on your plates add salt and pepper if you want. They're wonderful and crisp. Eat hardy girl!

Dear Crystal:

I was over to Sally's place, and saw your message. She's kinda tied up right now as it appears she ate too much FUDGE over the hollerdays and has a terrible bout of constipation; she'll get back to you after she gots off John, oh I mean off the john.

Your friend,
Ismerelda

Ismerelda And Crystal- You two definitely have FUDGE issues...LOL..LOL...I know a good therapist that specializes in FUDGE...It's an illness, you know! Now excuse me while I go make another "cracking" appointment..while throwing my head back to laugh, my neck got quanked...LOL...This is gonna be a day!!!

Crystal said...

Oh BLOODY HELL! I can't quit laughing!!! Tears, I tell you!! Sally, I swear woman, you are just THAT FUNNY!! You are my OFFICIAL rebel sidekick! Mom won't know what hit 'er!;0)

Donna, are you talkin' to me? Is that a twelve step program? I'm not good with commitment and people tellin' me what to do.

Crystal, who is Sally? Never heard of her!

Have a nice weekend, you wacko's. :)

Your friend,
Ismerelda

OOOPS, I had to run back in the house to clear something up. I didn't really mean to call y'all wacko's. That's not what I meant at all, poor choice of words.

Okay, now I'm gonna go back outside; I'm mowing the grass in my pajama's in a bra with my lawnmower, Peaches. Now that's wacky.

Love,
Izzy

Donna, how nice that you can find a chiro that isn't trying to talk you into a "program" that costs thousands of dollars. I would like to go to one that would just give me an alignment when I need it, but they want me to come back and come back and come back! I've tried, and I know that it doesn't work; I just need one now and then.

Crystal said...

Izzy, It's quite alright sweet, although I see dead people I dare say there is no relavence to us being Wacko in Waco...Did I also mention I here voices too, hhmmmm? I named them as well, being as close as we are to one another now.

Would you care for their names?? hhhmmmmm? Just to name a few is Sally, Anonymous, Esmerelda. I dare say, we work TERRIBLY well together....Oh, excuse me.....I just had a moment....must....take...meds....

Donna said...

Ismerelda- I swear I just don't know Who I'm talking to anymore..LOL..I'm referring Myself to the therapist...LOL
Get some clothes back on Girl!!LOLLOL...Now I believe someone is confusing Sally with Izzy!!!! She really does have a lawnmower named Peaches!!LOL

Jazzi- Know how to do it? When you go in for your first appt., while you're having your chat...let him know you DO NOT want short term care. Your neck may just need adjusting occasionally and that's all you need at the present time. It's called maintainence. I pay $38 everytime I go for neck and back. I may be there 10 minutes. I set the pace...YOU have to TELL them right up front! I've learned to say NO really well these days!! LOL
They Will Not turn you away!

I love asparagus and it's very easy to grow. It tastes even better if you grew it yourself. But you can't cut it to eat until the 3rd year after you planted it. Once it's planted though it needs hardly any looking after. Delicious hot with butter, or cold with lemon and olive oil.

I love my chiropractor, too !! He is very good and such a kind and caring person. Since sleeping on a water pillow, I have never had any neck problems. I forget where I got my pillow. But, I would never sleep with out it.

*HUGS*

Dabrah- Asparagus is wonderful! My Dad started it years ago in his garden and I remember we couldn't cut it for several years. But after that...great meals! Something else that's wonderful is spinach. Out of the garden or fresh in the packages at the store. Taste Nothing like that nasty stuff in the can!! Have a happy evening!

Dawn- A water pillow?? Maybe I could check that out on the internet...I'll google it and see what comes up! Thanks for the info! Have a fun night!!
