Seedless Watermelon...not

Black Olive Pizza

Steak and Sweet Potato

I've always believed when someone tells me a watermelon is seedless...it should be seedless.  No excuses.  I have no idea what this world is coming to.  I want to know that when I slice into one, there won't be anything to obstruct the blade.  I just felt the need to vent...not really.
With all the garbage going on in the world, I just wanted to give you something else to think about...Food!  What will bring a rush of happiness faster than a picture of delicious and succulent food?  A puppy might...butt since I don't have one of those, how about Libby...

Libby
Have you smiled at all?  I know it's tough out there right now...always something happening and we can't control a damn thing.  At least, that's what a lot of people believe.  It's not true...We can control us, me...you...and I believe that's enough.  So, smile and believe that tomorrow is going to be good.  Whether you believe in God or not...just believe...and smile that "knowing" smile 'cause it confuses the hell out people!Hahaaaa....
Love y'all...later...

Out of all the photos, I liked the puppy and the watermelon the best. And I agree--I think everyone is feeling out of control and not respected as a person any more. This is leading to violence in our society, an increase in the usage of anti-depressants, and the crazy aggressive driving on our roads.

Something's gotta change. BIG time.

Oh, so agree with Lin. The way people drive? It's crazy, like they don't care about our lives or their own unless they just don't think at all. If someone they cared about had been in a terrible, life threatening accident or life ending, would they care then?

I don't know what this world is coming to; I know it hasn't always been roses in the past years through the generations; wars, racism and the like. But, in our situation right now there isn't anyone, in my opinion, running for POTUS that I think are even slightly up to the task. And, I'll say it again - or ask again - will it be the one who raises the most money? ugh

I like the food - only knew one other person who liked sweet pots with steak; my uncle. But, if I had it right now, I'd love it. Must be getting my appetite back. LOL

Libby makes everything all better. xoxo

Enjoyed catching up on your posts, especially the Father's Day one! Such great photos of all the dad's in your life! I know what you mean about the watermelon, though I am convinced the watermelon with seeds has a better flavor. Maybe it tastes better to me because I have to work harder to enjoy eating it. Lol!

I probably gained a few pounds just looking at all that food. Libby was a nice way to end it all.
I bought a seedless watermelon a while back and was quite disappointed to find seeds in mine too. If that's the worst of my problems though I guess I'm doing pretty good.

I KNOW! My life would be so perfects if my darn seedless watermelon didn't have an occasional seed in it! LOL! Thanks for all that delicious food porn!

I downright grinned when I saw the steak and baked sweet potato. That's one of my favorite meals. Libby is such a darling. And you're right: We control nothing except our own attitude. Trust God and let the chips fall where they may. Love your life! It's but a vapor. Thank God for the promise of Heaven. xoxo

I've often wondered though...how does a seedless watermelon get started? But I see now it does have a seed. :)

Libby most certainly makes me smile. She is a darling. And boy, we certainly do need more things to smile about these days. So, thank you, sweet Libby.

My two furry rascals make me smile frequently throughout the day (and night) every day and night. They are my rays of sunshine... :)
